Exactly. Trump is kissing Un's ass according to your (little warped) assessment. Let's see who wins, we already know who you are rooting for...Trump bows to Un's Demands

One of the possible benefits of lifting trade sanctions against North Korea and a new trade deal would be the potential benefits for the North Korean people. I hope a large part of the negotiations with North Korea is how the basic human needs of the North Korean people will be met.
The past is gone. It appears we don't have viable options to force regime change due to risk of escalation involving nuclear weapons. We can talk about missed opportunities all we want, but a millitary based "solution" will kill innocent North and South Korean lives and put the US and Japan at risk of retaliation.
We didn't take care of business during the North Korean War, we didn't take care of business when North Korea started their nuclear weapons program. Now we should take care of business with a nuclear armed North Korea? To be fair, China and Russia were participants in the Korean War before and it became too expensive to continue. Do we really have to try something again that was proven not to work in the past?
It is what it is. We should give peace a chance and not characterize the willingness to negotiate as weakness. The last time we fought in Korea, casualties were high on both sides.
Let's throw away the bad hand of war and deal ourselves a new hand in a new game called "peace".

If benefiting NK people was the objective then why all the facade? Why is Bolton and Trump insisting on Kim giving up the nukes which is not gonna happen and which means no deal?
