You would think that after Chris Christie was harshly criticized for appearing with Obama -- that any Republican governor considering running for President would be very cautious about appearing with a Democratic President and praising them in any manner.

I was reading the other day about how Chevy Chase is broadly hated by fellow comedians and industry people and that blew my mind because he is so likable in his films and other work.

I think that is the way Donald Trump is. A certain type of person likes him until you actually have to work with him then things go south real quick. It happens to most people he has dealings with, they just don’t like him. DeSantis is simply next up.

In the meantime we will just be aghast at tone-deaf Trump holding a rally in Florida in the middle of a state of emergency with a large casualty crisis event.

remember when politicians would suspend their campaigns in the wake of a National tragedy or when their opponent had a significant personal issue to deal with. Sad that classiness has passed.
