Trump Blames Debt Ceiling ‘Mess’ on GOP Leaders in Congress

I would have said that as well, but after the way he doubled down on the wall the other night, I don't see how he can back down. He already lost face with his supporters over the Afghanistan strategy.

He's all talk, AAA. I'm resigned to that.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. One major problem is he has canned most of the people with any political savvy and is left with a bunch of retired generals and GS alums, most of whom clearly did not vote for him or support his policies. Even his family seems split, with Don Jr and Melania on one side, and Javanka on the other.

I think the health care fiasco was an eye opener for him. McConnell and Ryan no doubt assured him they had it covered, only to fail miserably. Trump is not the kind of operator to let the same dog bite him twice.

Perhaps. I'm just speaking from my own personal view here, AAA. I have almost no faith whatsoever in Trump anymore. I know a lot of it is blame that is laid at the feet of shits like McConnnell and Ryan, but Trump was elected to figure it out and that's what he has to do. Thus far he's been nothing but a loud mouth and a flip flopper.
