I do suspect he could get a lot worse in a few days. What he really should be doing is removing himself from leadership, relax, and stay away from stress the rest of his life. If he dies, or becomes chronically ill, he's done it to himself. I think a lot of voters are understanding how reckless he is and he's losing votes. In some ways, by remaining in power, he's taking the Republicans down. Somebody more rational might actually keep the election close.
In many ways, he is highlighting how uneven life in the US is these days, how he hasn't provided affordable universal health care, and his promises of a vaccine by election day are absurd. Medical solutions don't run on a clock based on political dates. His behavior around other people this week is inexcusable to anyone but his core base; even his son thinks he's acting irrationally.
