Jeff Sessions defends Department of Justice after Trump's criticism
Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued a statement defending his decision to allow the Department of Justice Inspector General to investigate the FISA allegations.
“We have initiated the appropriate process that will ensure complaints against this Department will be fully and fairly acted upon if necessary," Sessions said in a statement. "As long as I am the Attorney General, I will continue to discharge my duties with integrity and honor, and this Department will continue to do its work in a fair and impartial manner according to the law and Constitution."

It's a no win for Trump OR Sessions. If he was buddy buddy with Sessions, you folks would scream bloody murder about Sessions being corrupt. Trump will never get a fair handshake from anyone on the left no matter what happens.

When Trump told Sessions we're going to run this country like it's my private corporation and anytime I fuck-up it's your job to clean it up , Sessions immediately knew this dingy is going to sink fast and that he'd better cover himself. That is why he recused himself.
