Trump Argues Pre-Existing Conditions Protections are Unconstitutional

Every year since Obamacare was enacted my company sends out a notice that our healthcare payments are going up significantly and our coverage is being reduced. In each of these notices the company states this is directly attributable to ACA.

Your company is shit run by pieces of shit, consider continuing at your job.

Answer... you don't know, that was all speculation.

But facts we do know are Obamacare premiums were up 29% last year... consistent with the 185 percent they have gone up over 5 years. (overall... not just my family but everyone overall in the US.)

If it’s a large group and comprehensive coverage then your pool most likely experienced large claims.

Obamacare had a positive impact on group coverage due to the 80/20 rule. That actually stabilized premiums. It was Indy plans that got hurt from subscribers jumping ship into the exchanges. People with skinny plans experienced sticker shock with the new mandatory benefits but they didn’t really have health insurance to begin with.

Your company wants you to vote republican so they can get juicy tax cuts and they use ACA as a wedge issue.

Actually the company executives are Democrats. They are just following the requirements in regards to healthcare rate notifications of the Northeastern state the company is located in.

Did these 'Dems' blame Bush before Obama?

Exchange plans and group plans are different things. You claimed to be in a large group but getting exchange rate increases. Something doesn’t add up.

I suspect you are not in a group plan with a $10,000 deductible. You’re either in a grandfathered Indy plan, that was a skinny plan, or you’re getting your plan from the exchange.

Simple explanation - wildly exaggerating and lying as most Cons do.

Here’s the truth, you cannot beat the actuaries. Your plan premium in a group either goes up because of claims (and I know this because I was the guy companies used to call when their carrier increased premiums) or your employer is screwing you over and making you cover a larger percentage of the premium.

Different carriers will rate different groups differently based on the contracted rates they have with providers. Let’s say your group has two main claims pregnancy and heart disease. Blue cross will rate your group differently than Aetna because they may have contracts with providers for lower costs for pregnancy services and cardiologists.

I am in a large group. I just called to make sure.

I have a 10,000 deductible.
I have had massive rate increases.
The last few years the increases have tracked obamacare plan increases.

The exchange plans have been more expensive when I called in the past during open enrollment.

that is employer sponsored health benefits.
I am not talking about that issue.
besides had you lived in the states you would know we in the states were not happy about the cost of health care back then either.

That is why Obama could sell his Grubering / purposeful lies ... your rates would go down and you could keep your doctor.

I am in a large group myself, with a family and pay less per month than you with zero deductible. Something is not adding up with your situation based on my experience.
