He didn't see anything because when they are conducting flight operations for programs you aren't involved in you are herded into the chow hall and held there or confined to your room if you are staying a few days and have a room. You only ever see what you are cleared for and most are cleared for very narrowly scoped tasks.. a little piece. In and out.
