Trump Administration: Group of Thugs and Criminals

Its time to move on ace.
This kind of stuff never mattered anyway for Trump, why post it now?
You got Biden, now lets see what the sweet loving grandpa that "has been through so much" can do.

I appreciate his empathy, he has endured much.... but as much as I hate to say it, where the rubber meets the road, the President of The United States has to be... as f'd up as it sounds... a cold hearted son of a bitch.

This whole "woe be me"... with his wife/son, and then Beau.... plays out well to a populace sick of Trump.... but history has proven time and time again, as much as we would hope for something to the contrary ( a John and Yoko utopia)... the Oval Office can NOT have empathy.

It plays well to Millennial's, X'rs, and lots of Boomers...
But those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Trite, but there's nothing new under the sun.

And with all that said, I'll throw in one more thing....
.... his veep makes me PUKE.

Case closed.
I disagree with every single point you just made.

So what are you're saying here? Biden, being a stone cold killer, should toss all of Trump's corrupt officials in jail? I can drink to that.

As for the rest:

I think Warren's lesser exposure in the mainstream which may shield centrists from her more Berniesque policies. Moderates shoving Biden aside will depend on how pissed they are in 2020. I'd still like Kamala in some capacity....would probably make a good VP choice but it's a pretty useless position. Better have her as AG to unleash on the trumpklins.
Nah, she's just been rather vocal about not letting Trump's crime slide. Bernie barely touches the issue. If I had the option of a leftie to right the ship back to center that's gonna be weak on this admin's crimes, or a moderate like Kamala that won't let it slide, I'll take the moderate.

Generally I'll take the moderate every time, but we need a leftie to undo the damage, a moderate won't be enough. Plus it will trigger the cons.
Beto is too green. I'd rather have an ex-lawyer in the white house to clean up the garbage that Trump left in the Judicial. That stench has to be eradicated.....someone w/o a judicial background would be over their head.

Fox News regular Anthony Tata to be tapped as Pentagon policy chief
If confirmed, Tata would oversee the Pentagon’s policy shop as the department reels from the coronavirus pandemic.

Anthony Tata, a retired Army brigadier general,
novelist and Fox News regular, will be tapped as the next Pentagon policy chief, according to three people with knowledge of the decision.

If confirmed by the Senate,
Tata would replace John Rood, who was forced out in February as part of President Donald Trump’s loyalty purge after two years in the job.

According two current administration officials and one former defense official,
Tata beat out Douglas Macgregor, another retired Army officer and frequent Fox News commentator, for the job. Both were interviewed by Trump. Elbridge Colby, a former deputy assistant secretary of defense, was also a candidate, but took himself out of the running a few weeks ago.

POLITICO first reported this month that the field had been narrowed to Macgregor and Tata, and that Defense Secretary Mark Esper had expressed reservations about Macgregor. Bloomberg first reported that Tata will be Trump's pick.

“He’s more affable and has done a lot of different things since leaving active duty,” said an administration official on why Tata was chosen over MacGregor.

A Pentagon spokesperson referred questions to the White House. A White House spokesperson said they don't comment on personnel, and Tata did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Tata is best known as an avid Trump defender and author of the “Threat” adventure series. He has been featured in Trump tweets for lauding the president on Fox News, where he has spoken out about Trump’s firing of Navy Secretary Richard Spencer over the war crimes case of former Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher, and also about Trump’s decision to send troops to the U.S.-Mexico border.

Tata retired from the Army in 2008 after an Army probe found he had been having affairs with “at least two” women, the News & Observer reported.
He served as North Carolina transportation secretary but resigned in 2015, citing a need to spend more time with his family and the demands of his side career as a novelist. He also considered running for Congress.

It's unlikely that Tata would take up the post soon. He must be officially nominated by the White House and confirmed by the Senate, which has dragged its feet confirming recent DoD nominees. Esper has been lobbying lawmakers to quickly confirm Kenneth Braithwaite to be Navy secretary, after acting Navy Secretary Thomas Modly stepped down this month.

If confirmed, Tata would oversee the Pentagon’s policy shop as the department reels from the coronavirus pandemic
. As of Wednesday, 5,734 DoD personnel and dependents have been sickened by the virus, with 25 deaths. An aircraft carrier deployed in the Pacific, the USS Theodore Roosevelt, has been sidelined in Guam for almost a month after an outbreak onboard.

The department has also dispatched more than 50,000 personnel, including National Guardsmen, active-duty service members, and reservists, across the country to help communities fight the pandemic.

Controversial official who pushed conspiracy theories taking top Pentagon policy role

Washington (CNN)Controversial retired Brig. Gen. Anthony Tata is being moved into the Pentagon's top policy role, taking over the duties of James Anderson, who resigned Tuesday, according to a US defense official.

Tata was previously nominated to be undersecretary of defense for policy this summer but his nomination was withdrawn because of bipartisan opposition.

Tata is widely viewed as a Trump loyalist who maintained support from the White House even as Republicans on the Senate Armed Services Committee signaled they were unwilling to support his confirmation earlier this year.
