It's hard to ignore however that American Jews, except for the Orthodox, all seem to be on one side of the boat politically, so much so that it seems almost like a defining characteristic.

I'd be careful about falling into the same identity politics generalizations that leftists do. I know plenty of Orthodox Jews who are liberals, and Reform Jews who are conservatives.

Thank you for that. I struggle with this issue. No one wants to be accused of being anti-Semitic, and I can say I don't know of any conservatives who have a problem with the Jewish religion, as such. It's hard to ignore however that American Jews, except for the Orthodox, all seem to be on one side of the boat politically, so much so that it seems almost like a defining characteristic. Moreover, they are no shy about using non-democratic means, eg activist courts, to enforce their viewpoint and to repress others. That all creates resentment, much as the left despises Evangelicals. For some reason however, that is ok but criticism of Jews is out of bounds.

Most of the Jews I associate with, or who are in my family, are liberal conservatives. And most are non practicing (non religious) which flies in the face of the standard - non religious Jews tend to vote Dem. If Jews were a state, they would Be blue but they have gone purple. Media, legal, show biz are all very public and very over represented by Jews. Probably not a popular thing to be publicly Conservative.

Progressive Jews aren’t popular amongst most people. I know this for a fact since one of my closest friends once told me, very early in our friendship, that ‘had he not known me, he would have hated all Jews.” His experience was dealing with stupid cunts that we all deal with daily, and unfortunately he worked in a heavily jewish area.

At least we now know that this is just another example of left wing media bias promoting insanely stupid ‘statements’ by a ‘community’.

The thing KKK needs to grasp a bit more is there are no 'the Jews' really, there are loads of different sects, each is 'ish'. The US Reform Jews are quite nice really but they are near functionally atheist like the Church of England. Bunch of happy campers who like to do community stuff but CofE drink a lot more tea.

When dealing with so many groups you can't predict the ins and outs of by looking at them as just "Jews".
