^Because they didn't believe (all) the corruption, and know that Drumpf has his own. Look, everything bad I heard about Clinton came from others, and everything bad I heard about Drumpf came from his own mouth.[/QUOTE]
So let me ask you a couple straight forward questions. You're one of the resident left leaning guys I have some respect for, so answer me this. Where was all this outrage when Sanders got screwed out of the nomination? Why no riots in the streets? it was clear to anyone caring to look that the DNC process was slanted towards a Clinton nomination, voters be damned. We found out later that the media was working in collusion with the Clinton campaign throughout this entire process. Now you can say what you want about the republicans, but their process did allow for the will of the people to choose their nominee. We can't say that about the democrats process, now can we?
So everyone is pissed off now about the electoral process. Had the DNC not scammed the people the electoral process would have worked just fine. This is what happens when a party defies the will of the common voter. You can't say you're the party that wants change and then put up the personification of everything corrupt about the system. You can't demonstrate against Wall Street corruption and put up a candidate that is so much in bed with Wall Street. The very same people, the exact same people that protested against wall Street are now in the street protesting that their corrupt Wall Street whore didn't win. WTF?
Bottom line is that the left rolled over and went along with what was an obvious subversion of the system last summer and "settled" for what they knew was not at all really representative of what the people wanted. Here's a novel idea for ya'll to consider. next time around find a candidate who isn't the exact opposite of what you claim to represent. That'll be a hell of a lot easier that removing the electoral college, which isn't going to happen.
