Although implemented by the Clinton administration, that particular deal was actually negotiated by George H.W. Bush. In any event, free trade is both necessary and a net positive for a progressive economy. You want to go isolationist?

The United States lost millions of manufacturing jobs during the NAFTA era, but overall unemployment has been largely stable (excluding the fallout of the Great Recession) as new low-paying service sector jobs have been created.

This sounds like a winner to you? Too much time in the weight room me thinks
