He first served in gubmint (besides his very short stint in the US Army Reserves lol), as US Asst AG, under Pres Gerald Ford, in Nineteen Hundred Seventy Four!!!!!!! haha

And then there is Sen Grassley of Iowa. He was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in Nineteen Hundred Fifty Nine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Before joining the US Senate in 1981. Doh.

Yup I know you said ex-Prez's. So many of them (R's) left in disgrace or controversy that they took a que from that old Snickers commercial "wanna get away?".

Seriously, ex-Prezs appearing at their party's convention is treating it like a lifestyle, what is that supposed to mean? Go away already, not have an opinion.

Politicians (besides O-Man) are all the same. Put a microphone in front of them and they will babble. Convention ends tonight. Then the fun begins.

Trump looked very unhealthy today. The last time I saw Trump on TV like that was back in the fall of 2020 when he was released from the hospital. He had Covid and had been hospitalized for difficulty in breathing...he was standing on a balcony...sucking air and unsteadily lifting a glass of water with two arms.

Also, today, Trump looked like he's had some weight loss but not in a good way. Trump looks frail.

Foxnews was covering the media conference...not one reporter talked about the way Trump looked especially as he slowly walked away from the podium in a panoramic view from the cameras.

The "Trump trade" like his campaign is not doing so good these days. Seems spewing nothing but hate is no longer fashionable.
