Harris campaign mocks Trump for ‘whatever that was’ speech at Bedminster

Vice President Harris’s campaign hit former President Trump over his remarks Thursday, arguing he lied and wouldn’t defend his agenda.

The Harris campaign’s email in response to Trump had the subject line, “Statement on Trump’s…Whatever That Was.”

“We aren’t sure what we just watched and neither is America,” it said.

During his press conference at his Bedminster, N.J., property, Trump was asked by multiple journalists about criticism from some Republicans that he needs to be more disciplined and lay off the personal attacks on Harris. He responded that he was “entitled to personal attacks.”

The Harris campaign criticized the event, saying he had “a stream of not-much-consciousness” and then “it did not get better” when he took questions.

“At his country club, Donald Trump, huffed and puffed his opposition to lowering food costs for middle and working class Americans and prescription drug costs for seniors before pivoting back to his usual lies and delusions,” spokesperson James Singer said.

“No surprise, Trump doesn’t want to defend his agenda that would raise costs for families by $3,900 a year, cut Social Security, and eliminate the Affordable Care Act — all so he can give his rich donors tax breaks,” he added.

Ahead of Trump’s speech, the campaign mocked the former president, releasing a media advisory saying that he was set to “hold another public meltdown” and “deliver another self-obsessed rant.”

Former President Donald Trump will reportedly visit Howell on Tuesday to talk about crime and safety, his campaign announced Saturday.

Trump will speak at the Livingston County Sheriff's Office, his campaign wrote in a news release. The meeting will begin at 3 p.m.

The planned visit to Howell is Trump's sixth to Michigan, a key battleground state, this year. Howell made headlines statewide during Trump's visit to Grand Rapids in July — his first rally since an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania — when white supremacists, some of whom voiced support for the former president, organized demonstrations in the small town.

One group chanted "Heil Hitler" during a march that lasted about half an hour, according to city officials. There were about a dozen participants, with faces covered and signs in hand, gathered on the lawn of the Livingston County Historic Courthouse.

Haley fell in line out of sympathy after the failed assassination attempt on Trump's life in Pennsylvania. Governor Brian Kemp did not and he's not only a thorn in Trump's side...but more dangerous than Haley.

Trump is deep-seated in stupidity and ignorance in his little private war with Kemp. It should be at a great cost. ​

In my opinion, if Trump wins Georgia...it does not guarantee him the White House. In contrast, if Trump loses Georgia...it does guarantee he'll lose again...never to set foot in the White House again.

He'll then create another BIG LIE to blame it all on Kemp and the urban communities as cheaters (election fraud). Trump and Melania will go back to Mar-a-Lago to live out the remainder of their years in silent glory for another 4 years with control of the GOP until Trump sees the inside of Prison.

The latter should give the GOP the courage to kick MAGA to the curb while it gets a chance to rebrand itself without the crazies and without a convicted felon 34x (still counting) as if he's a Mafia boss seeking revenge on those that are not loyal to him.
