If RFK were not a Kennedy would he be given Secret Service protection? What is the threshold to be considered a serious candidate in need of protection? He was unable to make the June debate and is there any indication he'll make the one in September? Are people sending him death threats like Trump/Biden get on a regular basis? I'm guessing Stein, Oliver, and West aren't being given Secret Service protection.

I think the polarization in politics has become so bad...the government had no choice but to protect RFK Jr. too especially after the assassination attempt on Trump.

Yet, Stein, Oliver, and West may not be getting death threats. If they are, one of them will need to get shot for the others to get Secret Service protection until the November elections.

Will make little difference to my family's financials who becomes President , in fact there's more tax breaks under Trump while Biden wants to increase capital gains and other taxes.

One thing seems certain....Trump will most probably screw things up while Biden himself can't even climb up a stairway.

The number of disillusioned dems that will stay home and not vote means that popular vote margin will shrink considerably...Harris is not energizing anyone except late night comedians.

Although we know that politician promises are worth a bag of shit, we live in a world with the dumbest, most gullible voting population at any time so let's look at what trump promised at the RNC:

Lower prices ( he forgets we are not communist so Fed govt does not control prices)
End the war in Russia-Ukraine (Putin will never stop)
Stop the violence in the middle east (israelis and hamas wont stop until the other is dead)
Defeat China ( good luck with a consumer economy that buys everything from China)
Close the borders (couldnt close them with GOP control but mmmkay)
Create more jobs (only way to do that is to spend more money and surg deficit)
Reduce crime in the cities (crime in CHI/NYC/SanFran is under Governor/Mayor/Police not Prez)
Stop immigrants from taking Black jobs (what exactly is a Black job?)

Dems current promises:
Indict trump

GOP is winning the war of telling voter what they want to hear which leads to more votes in Nov.

As for woman's issues....ummmm 2016 election had abortion on the ballot as the next president was going to get to appoint SC justices... Hillary lost which shows you how much abortion mattered to the people. If women's rights mattered so much then why are so many women voting for trump and so many women didnt vote for Hillary?

If you think Cackling Kamala is going to beat trump then the delusion in the party is real....She had one job the past 3.5 years (the border) while remaining invisible for everything else. She got destroyed in the primaries when she stood on her own and now she expects to rally a party in disarray?

Biden stepping down does not change the current situation to be honest unless Dems put forth a new ticket rather than adding a bow as VP candidate to run with Harris.
