Trouble using order preset stoploss [Demo/Sim]

I am having trouble getting preset prices on the stoploss/profit taking order presets.

I click on a price to fill out the parent limit order and then when I hit submit it prompts me for the stoploss price!

I'm aware that when you adjust the presets they don't immediately take effect. ( Is there anyway to apply the presets immediately?)

I'm using Parent Order for price and I've tried both amt/ticks for the offset (negative value).

I'm trying in this in Demo/Sim outside of market hours is this an issue?
I haven't subscribed to data yet, would that be an issue in sim?
 
On IB, you must explicitly state that you want stops to be filled outside of regular trading hours...otherwise, the stop wont be sent to the exchange until "regular" market hours.

If I recall correctly, this is under "global settings" .... or something like that.
 
Ah that's good to know. I think it's the fact that my order preset is set to use last as the limit price and it must not like that the last price is stale. If i switch it to something like ask they go in without prompts.
