Trouble at Refco

Is anyone else disheartened by Refco and their new system Refco Pro.

This company is totally mis managed and it really seems like they don't actually care.

I have been trading there for 6 years. Macfutures then Refco.
How I wish I could go back to the days when it was more personal and down to earth. When the people actually cared.

I think its time for me to pack my bags
 
Well that depends

If its my fault that I have to trade on Refco Pro ok
If its my fault that the system crashes 3 times over Greenspan today then ok
If its my fault that they did not prepare at all for the eventual shut down of TT and the start up of Refco Pro then ok

However its not my fault. I pay desk rent and high round turns for a service, that at the moment is crap.
 
Clearing trades is a very profitable business and is nearly riskless compared to trading. Many firms will have their hand raised to be picked to clear your business (assuming you're trading is something more than an occasional hobby). If you don't switch it's your own fault.

I once had a broker call me 50 times to clear my trades. Switch. Better yet become a broker. How do you think they become multi-millionaires without providing service? Because it's low-hanging fruit. Switch.
 
Lots of others are about to make the move too.

This is a good opportunity for another company to steal Refco's Traders.

Me being on the front cover of trader monthly in November also helps me sway opinions.
