So Afghanistan, N. Korea, Yemen, Syria, now Somalia. It's as if it's brewing into some sort of all encompassing global conflict. The term escapes me

Well he has learned that using the military takes attention off his domestic failures,flip flops,low approval ratings,Russia investigation etc.

For the first time in History U.S. troops are in Somalia. Thanks to our brave journalists for paving the way. Some never left.

Well, not entirely true but yeah, we're back. The reasons at least seem noble enough, I just don't trust Trump to be surgical about military actions anywhere.

Obama quietly sends troops to Somalia. Trump sends some support for the troops already there. Liberal Media implies Trump is starting a new war in a new country.

Remember Trump doesn't know where Somalia is. He's only been President a few weeks and he certainly did not know where Somalia was before he became President. These decisions are not made by Trump, he just takes credit for them if he thinks it will make him more popular. If any thing goes wrong in Somalia it won't be Trumps fault. He'll find someone else, some "terrible" person, I mean "really terrible", to blame.

Alright, I'll admit I was uninformed on the topic. I find taking out terrorists an overall good plan, but you'll have to grant me that Trump ran on a non-interventionist platform (mostly being hawkish on ISIS).

And yeah, some irresponsible reporting from the Chicago Tribune in not mentioning a peep of this being Obama's baby.

I'm just curious, but where is the proof you have that shows Trump doesn't know where Somalia is, or that he didn't know it before he became President?
