Supported Cruz? wow... ok. One of the few things I remember liking about Cruz was that bit in the debate.
Mary Ann MacLeod Trump was born in Scotland etc. He should listen to Cruz then.

This is true. You cannot see a thread that someone has started if you have them on ignore, or posts they make. However, there are odd exceptions.
First, if you click a thread from the forum list page, where you can see all threads, regardless of whether people are on your ignore list or not. I have accidentally clicked on those threads before and realized that someone I had on ignore started it.
Second, if you click "reply" on the last post of a thread started by someone not on your ignore list, but the latest poster in the thread is on your list, you will reply to that individual regardless of your ignore status.
So it's not perfect. But it does cut down immensely on the noise. I only have exGOPer/Waggie and Fredrick Foresight/Brass/Thunderdog/Gadfly on ignore, as any conversation with them is 100% worthless and a waste of time.
Also, if you go to et while you are logged out and look at the politics page, you see all the threads. Then if you click on a specific thread and log in, you are on that page even if it's someone that's on your ignore list that started it. That's how i've posted on gophers threads a few times. He's on my ignore list.

Considering the very short time I have been posting on ET, and my not-really-impressive-but work finding a thread where Jem is forced to STFU after the 'clerk' thing, my work is nearly done anyway.
Having made Jem's (hopefully inspired?) list, I can call that an achievement.
With my dengue fever broken, I am insufficiently intellectually incapacitated to find Jem any kind of a puzzle and seeing FHL today trying to justify/excuse/diminsh? the car-ram copycat as a maybe accelerator malfunction by a poor innocent young man.. I feel totally hopeless for your culture's ability to get back to rationality.

I've shown research that shows that lib and con brains are organically different. This creates a natural cleavage that these internet echo-chambers have made far worse.
Before people on left and right had to at least know each other, mix with each other. Neuro-plasticity and time created men with a large overlapping center.

the fix is the same for anyone who suffers a break from reality due to leftist group think.
