Tribute to the fallen on Veterans Day and Remembrance Day

The Time for politicians to quit using human beings as pawns in war is long past due.

Post any videos/pics you have as a tribute, so that we never forget the people who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

It's too bad that most who have died in combat since WWII have been CHUMPS!

In WW II, we fought to save America. For what and for whom have we been fighting and dieing since?

Please refrain from littering this thread with politics, this is meant as a genuine tribute to the fallen.

I'd rather see us get ANGRY rather than teary-eyed. Maybe there would be fewer fallen.

In Flanders Field
by John McCrae

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch, be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
