even though brooks talks a lot about wedges, triangle, trading ranges break outs and failed breakouts....... i am only concentrating on trends .....
 
Trends have consolidations, wedges, triangles and ranges are consolidations. They breakout and trend resumes...or reverses. It's all part of the same dynamic, confusion about some of it is confusion about all of it.

you enter with some expectation that the market is going to do something...if it disappoints or worse doe the exact opposite do NOT wait for for your stop to be hit .......close......and if you are made of ice and nerves of steel..reverse!

Instead of a profitable trade, you ended up with 2 losing trades.

Never attempt to tighten your Stop too early.
