as for ,pardon me, trading, you're just chasing shadows..my view is that the closer you get to the ability of translating your 'method',model,etc to a computer algo the better for you..this stuff here translates ,pardon me again, to shit ..how do I know it is shit? well, among other things :'could've,should've' screams it loud enough your own brain is playing tricks on you..
Brooks is a random guy who probly never traded and if anything - would make a good priest

There are quite a few posters who focus heavily on what the books/coaches say.
I have burnt quite a few books because most of the trading books are not for trading.
If I could, I would bring it to Lord-of-the-Ring mountain
(the place where the ring was made).
And throw those trading books into molten rock.
There is no short cut to trading but to sweat blood and develop our
own holy grail.

i am glad you put him in a group some of whom are long dead..like Elliot ...also add Pring Bollinger etc
first you have to learn all the rubbish...if not how will you recognise the good things like the holy grail...........
but yes it is not only Brooks that is my head but also Elliot[who i traded for 5 years] Pring whose book i read first in 1994, Hansen who is the only coach i ever paid money to ,Bollinger, Demark, Raschke...and may be many others i have forgotten i am after all 63 years and everything is failing.
what i am trying to say is that i may not be trading only Brooks stuff but many other things i have learnt consciously and subconsciously
