my trading does not lessen Brooks in any way........failure of traders are due their doing only.
brooks has nothing to do with it.
my tribute is because i have benefited hugely by his teaching.
i was just joking...i did not forget
a lot of members here have told me that he is difficult to understand.
i have read his book since 2007......but reading a book does not make you a great trader......understanding it and implementing it correctly does make you a great trader.
it is apparent you have understood him ...one of the few....
To be fair, my understanding came from watching his video course. I cannot speak to his more recent trilogy as I have not read it/. His first book, Bar by Bar, is perhaps the most poorly written book in the English language. And I do not exaggerate when I say I have read in excess of 2000 books since becoming an adult. I have two friends who speak favorably of his trilogy, but neither of those friends are consistently profitable traders, so, I still have my doubts that one can really understand Brooks from his writings.
Do yourself a favor and get his video course. Then watch it. You will kick yourself for having struggled for a dozen years with his terrible Bar by Bar book.
It is not the same thing - not at all. And this is a great part of your problem: You have an ego incommensurate with your knowledge.

which i have started doing for the first time.....
but like you say i am dimwitted, have a huge ego and zero know ledge, so i am giving myself some time, for results to show in the P/L....
