How is this a non story. He stalked a kid in his car.. confronted him etc.
No one will ever know the kids side of the story is... Zimmerman was not uniformed law enforcement etc.
You can basically stalk, shoot and kill anyone in Florida and say the dead guy made death threats, got in your face.. aggressively intimidated you and pushed you to the ground.
This law is overly broad and needs to be reeled in... Stand your ground on your own property, business or home may make more sense. Some one tries to rob, car jack or break into your home... Stand your ground and shoot away.
I can't see how stalking a kid in a car, getting out an confronting him then shooting him in the back is standing your ground. I see this clearly as a racial hate crime.

You do nothing of the sort . What's clear is it's people like you that give power and credence to race hustlers and poison the well between races.
No one except the OTHER guy who saw the whole thing go down.

This is why Zimmerman was never arrested. He had a witness.

This is not why Zimmerman was not arrested. He was not arrested because the police never pursued an investigation and never interviewed any witnesses beyond the day of the shooting.
This witness does not state who started the physical confrontation; Zimmerman or Martin. He only states that Martin had gained the upper hand after he was pursued and likely attacked by Zimmerman.
Let's see what the author's of the Florida "Stand Your Ground" law say about that.

The Florida lawmakers who crafted the state's controversial "Stand Your Ground" law said neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman should be arrested for shooting and killing unarmed teen Trayvon Martin.
Former state Sen. Durell Peaden and current state Rep. Dennis Baxley said the law they wrote in 2005, which allows someone who feels threatened to "meet force with force" without backing down first, was being misapplied in the shooting death of the 17-year-old, the Miami Herald reported.
"They got the goods on him. They need to prosecute whoever shot the kid," Peaden, a Republican, told the Herald. "He has no protection under my law."

But Peaden and Baxley said that 911 tapes showing that Zimmerman followed Martin despite a dispatcher's request to stay away appeared to show that the 28-year-old crime watch volunteer was the aggressor.
"The guy lost his defense right then," Peaden told the Herald. "When he said, 'I'm following him,' he lost his defense."

You all are bias against Zimmerman. You have an eye witness saying what happened...that it was zimmerman calling for help. When you didnt know there was a witness, you had no problem believing the other people who called police that didnt even see the fight and say it was a "boy screaming for help" and assuming it was trayvon.
Hell...half of you thought that was it...case closed. A boy yelling for help right before he got shot. Guilty as charged. Now you find out it wasnt the boy asking for help and you are all like "oh well it was probably zimmerman that started the fight and trayvon got the upper hand"
Trayvon didnt even yell for someone to call the police. TRAYVON didnt yell for help. If you are "afraid" against some man who outweighs you buy 100 pounds, you yell for help. The only reason you would not yell for help or for someone to call the police is if you started the fight.
