Do you more experienced e-mini traders generally find that during the hours before an afternoon FOMC announcement, the market meanders and is not profitable for trend-following systems? Thanks for any insight.
I really dislike the Fed days myself. I do ok in the first hour or so of the day, but after that I would definatly do better at the beach or something.
I concur. The first hour is decent. Then pack up shop. I've just never had much luck trading the Fed news, with all the fake outs. Perhaps if my patience improves..
