well you seem to be having a lot of time on your hands to entertain those idiots over 30 pages. While I fully agree with you on those 2 guys I think you waste a lot of your time and your emotional responses dont let one conclude you stand a whole lot higher in the food chain...just my 2 cents...let go and do your work.

well asiaprop, with all due respect, from your postings in this thread I could say the same about yourself. No offence.
 
I thought there was a difference between trying to expose someone's trading and analysis claims for what it really is and relating to investing/trading, and on the other side ranting about races, IQs, houses in the countryside vs city plus digging up other peoples' dirt.....apparently the lines here at ET are very blurred...

The quality of life is what is important not the "stuff" associated with it. I'm a simple person as well and anyone that knows me can attest to that. My home is large because it is a gathering place for my and my wife's families through the Holidays. It is not a mansion by any means but it is large. We have a huge garden and we grow a majority of all the vegetables we use. We maintain the property ourselves and don't hire helpers. We enjoy the hard work that comes with a home this size.
The point I was making was that I choose to live here because of family. My wife and I both lived in Metro areas for over 20+ years. I came back to my home town to take care of an ailing family member. I was re-introduced with the quiet stress free life of rural America and decided to stay. These, exactly as you state, are the choices we as independent trading professionals make for ourselves. Not everyone would choose to live stress free and a quiet life as I do. I have many friends visit my home from all over the world and they are all extremely impressed with the quiet solitude and easy lifestyle I live. This is my choice and I love it.

No one plagiarized anything. Customizing settings for indicators is what ALL real traders do test the tools we use to find parameters that work.

Prime numbers or using them as increments aren't numerology any more than buying cokes in consistent size containers is.

Getting any recognition for research is no big deal if the research is marginal but you will never understand what made it unique because you are a moron.

out of curiosity, why is that? Whether someone gets banned or not lies at the complete discretion of the mods? How come there are tons of people who sell utter bullshxx and scam newcomers and nothing is done about that?

Smart statement.
Now if I could get you to hold your opinion to what you are experienced with, we might actually agree.

I feel like asking my son to taste something he's NEVER tried and his response is . . . I don't like the way it tastes. He's really saying he doesn't like the look of it which is normal. After he tastes (trys) it usually he is a fan from that point on.

A lot of concepts are hard to digest in the beginnning. If you test it and it doesn't work then and only then will you know for sure.
