I'm not a fan of any chart indicators to be honest. I've yet to see one (or a combination) that gives a true edge in the long-term. The very few that backtest well haven't held up in real-time trading. If the Hull MA was really that good, Alan Hull would keep it to himself and make millions trading his own funds or OPM.
