Trend Harmony , Updated Results

Quote from Murray Ruggiero:

Yes, I have a new system based on the harmony technology which I will be selling. It will cost more than the package with simple harmony. I will also be setting it as a upgrade to existing harmony users for $549.00. The system will sell for $1399.00 for TraderStudio users, $1699.00 including TradersStudio and $1899.00 with data also included.
The results are attached.

Thanks for the reply and that is nice to know of the new system.. Mr. Murray. :) Please tell me, how is this new system better than the earlier ones? Also, how can you be sure that the new one will work better or hold up? Thanks :)

I released this the orginal system in Jan 2006 and orginally developed it in July 2005. Over the whole time I have not released a new version of simple harmony except the minor upgrade due to the electronic market entries. I built this new system almost a year ago and have watched it all this time. It's still using the core logic of simple harmony but now added multi-timeframe analysis. It performs much better than the orginal harmony and I consider it a major advancement. Multi-timeframe analysis has been used by traders since the livermore days, and is a robust sound concept and I believe this version will continue to perform much better than the orginal system

But it's more profitable to sell the system, rather than trade it yourself? :D

My partner and I are managing 60 million dollars using variations of the systems I am selling combined with money management developed in TradersStudio.

If I sell 50 copies of a system most people will not trade it exactly the way it was designed. They will skip trades which they think are too risking. Most of the time these turn out to be the best trades. They might trade different markets with the basket systems than I do. Many will quit after the first drawdown.
Since my logic is disclosed they might even modify it. I also have each person sign a NDA and also agree not to use it to manage funds outside of themselves and family.
This means I can sell 50 copies and not effect my trading. If someone offered you $50,000 and it would not effect what you are doing , I am guess you would say no ?.

People aren't offering you fifty grand out of the blue. You're out there hawking it like a used car salesman in a cheap suit. In other words, like you really need the money and the part about managing 60 mil is BS.

Please don't attack my credibility when you have no clue what your talking about. Here is my bio page from Tuttle Wealth Management where I am Chief Systems Designer

http://www.matthewtuttle.com/custom.php

We have over 60 million under managment at Tuttle. My systems are trading ETF's and Funds. Our service is a 1.85% fee product. We are going to be setting up futures funds in 2011. The part about my systems I developed managing 60 million is not BS.

What wrong with trying to make money ?. I spend a lot of time working on my craft and should make money for it. Many company founders or anyone who is self employed markets their services using their name. Bill Gates for the first 20 years of Microsoft hawked Excel and Word in interviews and tradeshows, over WordPerfect and Lotus. I guess he really needed the money.

Murray,

Can you then give a link to actual results and not hypothetical ones ?

I am an ETF trend trader and the title of this thread caught my attention. Murray, you have not provided actual results of your system. You have noted your affiliation with Tuttle Wealth Management. Should anyone take the time to go to Tuttle's site they will note that all of the Tuttle strategies have provided a lower return than the S&P 500 year-to-date. Ouch!

Reference was made earlier in this thread about posting actual trades on Collective2.com and this is exactly what I have done. My performance stats can always be viewed at http://trendtrading.collective2.com/. In my opinion, any trader who wants to provide an objective and detailed statistical analysis of his/her trades should consider Collective2.com. Putting your trades out in the public domain for all to see has a way of getting you to focus on your trading strategy.
