If I flip a coin 500 times then plot each heads and each tails on a graph trends would mysteriously appear. Might get 15 heads in a row before another tail. Then maybe 10 tails. Would look just like a stock chart. Aren't real trends though just a meandering of random outcomes. To the eye would look like a trend but it really isn't. The previous outcome would have to influence the present outcome to make the claim of a trend. Each coin flip outcome is random.

But previous market price DOES influence current price??
