Sorry you felt I miss quoted you. I concede you do not use the term idiot, however there is a tone that implies anything other than trend following is futile.
Im not having an attack on you like some people like to. As I said, I think there is a lot to learn from your books, and respect what you have to say, but as somebody that has worked on trading floors as a trader for my entire career (which may only be 6 years but still..) and have worked alongside at least 6 or 7 guys that make over a million a year (for themselves trading prop i.e not other peoples money), and numerous other traders that have gone 10 years+ without 2 consecutive down months and myself managed to earn a living from trading for 6 years, I can say with confidence that there is money to be made in every style, including trend following.
Just dont really agree that other approaches are doomed to failure and you are just riding your luck before the inevitable blow out. Trend following firms blow out too.

Think you are simplifying some very detailed accounts spread across my 4 books. I welcome the debate, but everyone can see the specificity that I have used in my work...and a good debate will require some decent counters.

RCG has agreed to your debate and I sent you an email right after this post agreeing to sit done with you as well. I've waited a reasonable amount of time (4 months) but to date, you haven't responded to either of us.
I'll now post a response here as well, as long as you stick to your promise of focusing on content (as stated in blue above). I'm willing to sit down with you and go over exactly what I do and how it works.
What are you scared of?
Funny! I believe Mike and everyone else is awaiting you to send us your software for objective testing as promised by September, 2011.
I'll be happy to link your multiple promises to this regard.
Perhaps, if, after the software shows some promise, a face to face debate can be arranged--- untill that time, you are nothing but a claimed noble prize nominee chef with big claims and no back up.

PSS We'll be happy to debate you or any of your minions once the its shown that you have anything other than pretty charts of the past and platitudes to sell.
First, your boss, Michael Covel's challenge wasn't contingent on my software being in YOUR hands. He threw out an open challenge and, like you, when someone calls him on it, runs and hides. If he would be honorable and stick by his word, I'd bring a copy of the software for him to test as well. I won't hold my breath.
Second, I know English is your second language so I'll clarify things for you. I stated I would deliver the software to you in S E P T E M B E R . . . today is A U G U S T 5th, 2011. We are still about 30 days from getting you your copy. If you need help with reading a calender or learning English, my 11 year can help you.
The software is done now but we are adding some extra encryption software just for you. It will let us know if someone tries to hack it.
Oh, speaking of your journal, it is currently running rings around your journal trade but the world can test it and see that for themselves next month. They don't have to believe what I say. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while and you are chewing on your nut now. Savor the flavor because it will be awhile before you get another one.

You know if you were confident with your own system you wouldn't be trolling around ET starting threads looking to loan money for a measly 10% return. If you were trying to diversify, like you said, there are much better and safer ways in make money but then I have to remember I'm talking to a trading and market expert that doesn't know what "RTH" means.
Lastly, I don't have "minions" like you do. I speak for myself with confidence and can back up my method with software anyone will be able to test & validate for themselves. When the software is finally ready, ET will be one of the only sites on the internet where information on it will be available.
Ok, whatever you say. What a rant-- We are Looking forward to testing the software as promised.
