I understand one or more of Elitetrader's finest are explored in the new book. Gabfly, I wonder if you have been granted this honor? I guess you gotta buy the book to find out just who won the prize....

You're the only author I've ever seen who chases people down for writing honest, but negative, reviews on Amazon. That alone is very elucidating.

It might help you to ask yourself why other writers do not do so, nor express the kind of sentiment you just did a few posts above.

Exactly. Your kind of comment is exactly what I want to print. On one side of the ledger we have praise, and on the other side nameless whines. Both views are helpful.

Just cut and paste these comments from gabby and the others. Use their aliases if they are not men enough to give real names.

And the saga continues. Covel writes another book, and he is at a loss when asked what new and additionally useful content is covered in his new book compared to the previous Trend Following book. The repetition of one non sequitur after another, while revealing, does not actually answer the question. The question becomes that much more poignant when one considers that Covel regards trend following to be defined in a rather precise and limited way, as evidenced in the preceding posts on that subject. And so, against the background of a singular and static definition of the term, a thinking person can't help but ask what relevant and applicable information is contained in the new trend following book that was not already covered in the previous book. Meanwhile, the sound, the fury, and the non sequitur responses continue. Gosh, doesn't it just feel so right to buy a book from this guy?

Rather than posting 1000 times, why don't you call some of the endorsers of the book and ask their views? If, like some on this thread, you're a somebody rather than a nobody, you'll know some of them.
