Every tick is not a trend. That is an ignorant statement from even the most raw trader.
I see tops in real time, not call them into the future.
I see bottoms in real time, not call them in the future.
Mr. Covel's has yet to define "trend following" but his books are but one good example of trading using trending information.
Simply look at your posts (in all of your aliases), you attack in each of them.
I threatened no one Mrs. Dalmation and all of your lies to the contrary can't change that.

Said the self-proclaimed arbiter of all things trend. Speaking of idiots, how many "trend trading" courses have you sold lately at a cost of over a thousand dollars a pop? Those are the idiots of whom you speak. And you are the carnival barker who shamelessly fleeced them. On the plus side, they hopefully learned one setup to avoid in the future, eh?
 
One needs to check out Covel's new book, Trend Commandments. There is a section featuring Elitetraders very own Nobel Prize Nominee in chart reading. Entertaining to say the least!

No, Covel's books are on my desk, not on the shelf--- as well as the other tomes mentioning marketsurfer. They are excellent books-- some of the best in the genre.

So Covel's latest book is "Trend Commandments?" Aside from moving the words around, what new and insightful content does it bring to the table since his last fluff piece, "Trend Following?" Or, more likely, is Covel just back at the trough, looking to see how many more idiot dollars he can collect with little more than a new cover? And possibly attract, however "tangentially," some more meat for his "trend following" course, perhaps even his flagship system course at a mere $2,997.00 a pop. Yes, indeed. Step right up.

Wish I had the real names of some of Elite's most prominent dolts. On one page I would put book praise like here: http://www.trendcommandments.com. On the other page could be the angry book blurbs. One page of praise and another page of anger. My only condition? Some of the folks in here would need to use their real names to get the free publicity.

That's all well and groovy, but what new and insightful content, generally speaking, does your new book bring to the table that's not already covered in "Trend Following?" Aside from perhaps more recent performance statistics by some of the big names. Please answer the question. I see on Amazon that various reviewers describe your book as a non-technical, breezy rumination on what is right about trend following. How is this non-technical, breezy rumination different from your previous non-technical, breezy rumination?

It doesn't answer the question. What value did you add since the last Trend Following book you wrote? The commentary from the mutual endorsement society does not address the question I asked. I bought and read your Trend Following book when it first came out. Tell me why I should spend money to buy your new book. What's new? What's different? What value did you add? Are you going to answer the question, or are you going to stonewall because it is just more of the same?
