Quote from marketsurfer:
the professor fails to understand that the issue here is not the creative and unusually written disclaimer or his untrue, mean spirited and libelist accusations; but rather the use of psuedo trade results to boast credibility among the naive and true believers.
in no way am i saying that it is impossible that the professor doesn't have a decent system, he may very well---i really have no idea. however, the marketing materials seem to dictate that its a sham.
please refrain from the personal attacks, professor. i have been treating you personally with respect and expect the same in return. answer my challenge rather than diverting the issues.

The name is Bill Schamp, David Goodboy and there is nothing creative or unusual about the detailed explanation of the trades I critique daily in the Euro FX. It is written in plain English without the need for two dollar words. It is written so that even someone, in my opinion, with your limited understanding of "common sense" could see the clarity in it. I guess since its focus is straight forward you would consider that unusual. Especially the way, in my opinion, you twist the meaning and context of what other people write.
As far as being "mean spirited", what a joke. I simply act in kind. When my credibility is attacked by, in my opinion, a hack such as yourself, I will defend my research as anyone would. This thread was going along fine until you started with your name calling as usual and one only needs you read the last 10 pages to see that.
And the libel, you had better take stock on just who you have pissed off over the last couple of years and then think about just who our mutual acquaintances are. I really think you don't want to open that can of worms do you?
Marketing materials? I do not market anything to speculators. I do not have a public website. I do not promote anything I do. In fact the only one that mentions what I used to do is YOU! You know if you spent as much energy on being a better trader as you do trying to direct the heat away from your, in my opinion, inadequacies as a hedge fund operator, your clients might actually be happier.
Respectful? What a pile! I kindly offered to show you my research and allow you to analyze what I do and your only response was that you couldn't waste your time with it. You appointed someone in your stead to evaluate it and even stated here in ET that you would stand by that evaluation. YOU LIED! Once that individual posted his evaluation of my research you all but ignored it and continued your personal assault on me and my research. Well, sue me for calling you a liar because I have copies of the entire thread he posted before ET deleted it and that includes your statements contained in it. I've learned that being in this forum that the only way one can protect themselves is to copy every post and applicable thread.
Finally the "challenge". I challenged you months ago to head-to-head live trading and you tucked your tail between your legs and ran like a little puppy in a wolf pack. Don't even try to turn this around like this is something you began. You want to trade heads up, bring it on but I pick the venue and the Markets. I choose a webcast at the university here locally for a week straight 7 am EST to 12 noon EST, broadcast live and in front of a breathing audience of locals. The Markets will be the Emini S&P and the Euro FX. That should be quite a sight. For money, we trade 10 contracts each. The one who makes the most profit off those 10 contracts wins. The other has to match his winnings and loses any profit they made as well as their account balance. I'd love the opportunity to embarrass you in front of the world. Hey, and since you think I'm a crackpot you have the opportunity to embarrass me. What could be better right?
To answer your other question, yes, it has been programmed and it runs in Tradestation. The programmer, who coincidentally lives close to you, has been testing it for a few months now with great success. The only limitation is the platform itself, not the objective programming. Go figure.
From this point on you can talk to thin air because I'm putting you on ignore. You have my email address if you want to finally take me up on that challenge and have a bunch of money and respect you are willing to part with. Other than that I'm really tired of wasting my time on you.
