Trend Following--Another Nail In The Coffin

don't you use a form of mean regression model as your primary entry strategy, ie channels, oversold indicators, etc. then you do use past trend to determining your entry point. trend or counter-trend, without past data, your entries would be utterly random.

The only thing more pathetic than calling the top/end of the market(s) at any given point in time is calling the end of trend following traders/funds. Pathetic.
