We do not have open borders, last month I crossed four times, and was stopped every time by guards.
We do and do not have open trade. For example, Drumpf's blather about Chinese steel. Both the US and Canada are levying anti-dumping tariffs on steel from certain Chinese mills (those found to have been dumping).
As for jihadists (and other trouble makers), Drumpf is no longer calling for ending immigration.

Trump bought Chinese steel and aluminum to build his skyscrapers, being dumped at below cost prices in the US by the Chinese, hurting US steel corporations and by extensions the very workers he is promising better jobs in states like Pennsylvania.

Not all Chinese mills were found to be dumping. He either bought the steel before the ruling was made (I couldn't tell you off the top when that was), or he didn't buy steel from those mills. In the latter case he wouldn't have saved anything and hurt American steel production.

thats not going to happen because outside of failed models there is no science showing man made co2 causes warming.

2. I don't know how they would react. NASA studies show co2 acts a thermostat sometimes acting to cause cooling and sometimes causing warming. What the data shows us is that co2 levels lag but follow changes in ocean temps. We don't know that those levels change because we add add co2. The earth could process it or off gas the extra co2.

the bomb test studies call into question all your sides assumptions (the bern convention) about how co2 behaves in the earths eco system.
