Tremors through the Republican Party

Parallel universe much?

Clinton didn't want to take the case; she was ordered to take it. She tried unsuccessfully to get the judge to remove her from the case. In any event, under Clinton's handling of the case, the defendant pled guilty rather than going to trial.

Seriously, what's the matter with you?
That snopes article points to yet another example of how righties spin and fabricate "scandals" about Hillary. 99% of them are made up nonsense, and one should take a whole shaker of salt every time they hear one. As pointed out in a recent article, in spite of all these "scandals" Hillary was popular with both left and right in the years leading up to her announcement to run for president.

She was primarily a public defender. Her entire job was to be appointed to cases. It does not matter if she volunteering or was appointed - it is not pertinent to this discussion. Nor was her trying to remove herself from the case she was appointed to pertinent to the overall scenario. Public defenders regularly try to get off of cases they believe will require a large number of hours at minimal pay.

The assertions are about her behavior and commentary associated with the case and her lack of apparent remorse for the impact on the victim -- despite claiming to be a champion for children and victims in her current political career.

To be fair, I don't hold it against Hillary that she vigorously defended her client. I do hold against her the political image she projects as being all about supporting children & victims when having a former career as a criminal defense lawyer - the two are not compatible and there is no excuse that can possibly reconcile them.

After the latest Trump story broke on Friday, I occasionally watched Fox for a few minutes at a time, just to see how they would spin it. Sure enough, Hannity was dismissive of the" faux outrage," and wondered why more people were not repulsed by Hillary laughing as she got a rapist off. I'm not kidding, he said that. Fox goes out of its way to try and legitimize the illegitimate. And some of that shit sticks among the willingly gullible, as we can readily measure right here in P&R.

Either you're breathtakingly naïve, or you are bending over backwards to connect the dots of your predefined narrative.

I can't watch Fox. Stopped a few years ago.

Personally I haven't seen a trustworthy news show since Macneil Lehrer which I used to rush home to watch.

You must admit that CNN is in the bag for Hillary as much or more than Fox is in the bag for Trump. Many would argue that Megyn Kelly supports Hillary Clinton but overall I agree with your assessment of Fox News.
