This is not bullshit. This is the real trump. Did you miss, " you've said that that many times." And Trump repeats,"My personal viet....." !!!! Why. Because he thinks its a joke? But not me. I had friends die in that war. There were national guard troops on our campus. It is not a joke to me. Stern says, "You've said that many times." That is not Stern putting words in Donald's mouth, that is Stern pointing out what Trump has said many times!!! You're just going to have to accept that your President is a jackass.
I have far more respect for my friends than I do for Trump. One friend starved himself to keep from having to go to Vietnam and fight for a cause he did not believe in. Others bravely went to Canada not knowing the final consequences. Their motives were pure. Their acts were a protest against a government lying to them. They acted not only out of fear and their natural desire for self preservation, but also out of respect for mankind and in protest against pointless war. One guy, whom I did not know, lost a leg to a national guard bayonet. All we wanted was for the war to end, and the killing to stop. These are my heroes. And too, those who went and fought bravely, not knowing they were on the wrong side, are also my heroes.

Have you heard Howard talk about Vietnam? About how he used to blow up gook schools and use the skin of Vietnamese children as a blanket? Many people don’t find these ‘jokes’ funny but it’s just Howard doing his Schtick.

Yes, I know many draft dodgers. None of them are heroes. Including Trump. I assume you believe claiming bone spurs is a heroic thing to do? I don’t. But I get it. I wouldn’t want to fight either. Had I been draft age I probably would have run too.
I also know many guys who fought in Nam when they were 18,19 years old. They did and saw unspeakable things. They came back forever changed. Some of them became mentors. Others became friends.
The point here is that your TDS doesn’t allow you to see clearly the difference between locker room talk, shock interviews on the radio, and comedy....anyone who takes this stuff seriously is mentally deranged.

In his plea, Flynn admitted to discussing U.S. sanctions with Kislyak in a phone call in late December 2016 and said senior members of the incoming Trump administration were aware of his efforts, which undermined the policies of the outgoing Obama administration. Flynn had urged Kislyak not to overreact to sanctions imposed by the Obama White House in response to Russian meddling in the presidential election the month before.
Flynn had earlier made "material false statements and omissions" when confronted by FBI agents about the conversations, according to court papers.
The Flynn-Kislyak phone call created turmoil in the early days of the Trump administration and sparked fresh questions about its ties to Russia.
The White House denied that Flynn had discussed sanctions with Kislyak during the call, and Vice President MIke Pence later said that Flynn had assured him that sanctions never came up.
On Jan. 26, 2017, then-acting Attorney General Sally Yates told White House counsel Don McGahn that sanctions had in fact been discussed in the call and warned that Flynn was susceptible to blackmail by the Russians.
Trump's former personal attorney Michael Cohen pleaded guilty last Thursday to lying to Congress about plans for a Trump Tower in Moscow.
Cohen admitted that he was not being truthful when he told the Senate Intelligence Committee that the Moscow project "ended in January 2016 and was not discussed extensively with others" in the Trump Organization.
Court documents filed by Mueller's office said the talks continued into June 2016 — in the heat of the presidential race — and for a time included discussions with Trump, his children and Russian government officials.
