My point to you is why do you defend this man? He kill that boy Trayvon with NO EVIDENCE of crime from that boy on that day he kill him. Trayvon have no gun, and no crime. Jorge only think in his angry paraoind mind guilty, so he stalk.
The USA law say no guilty. Why? For because Jorge have very small cut on his head and nose, and Jorge tell his story of afraid for his life. But only Jorge can talk, Trayvon is dead. But do you see the forensics? Trayvon have no trauma to his hands in the autopsy. Trayvon have 2 very small abrasion to his 2 fingers on the left hand so small can not be measure on the scale. The majority of reasonable people will defend the right of George Zimmerman to defend himself from a violent assault from a teenager with drugs in his system who was carrying burglarly tools (slim jim).

You ask why most reasonable people defend George's actions that night - it is because we are defending the right to defend ourselves with a gun from violent assault if we were in a similar situation.

Similarly I am defending the right of my daughter to stand her ground with a gun if she is violently assaulted. The excuse that my daughter was only slightly hurt in the assault before she pulled the trigger is not an acceptable reason to find her guilty of murder in a self-defense situation.

For the last time, Zimmerman had the crap beaten out of him. What does she think, that he slammed his own head on the concrete after shooting the kid when no one was looking? And broke his own nose? Frankly, he's not that clever from what we've seen.

This was a simple case of an amped up punk deciding to get into it with the wrong guy. The people who should be engaging in self examination are the race hustlers who created this narrative that it is some sort of crime against humanity for people to keep an eye on likely criminals. Stop blaming the vicitms and start demanding that ghetto thugs quit ruining it for the responsible blacks.

I don't mind that Trayvon Martin was shot neither that Zimmerman was found not guilty, but clearly the title of this thread is unjustified. I suspect most full fledged violent criminals would consider shooting a baby in cold blood trying to rob a handbag way too vile an action, let alone stupid.

Anyway the nasty and self destructive young black kid is prolly not gonna enjoy his adulthood that much. At least he can comfort himself thinking that upon his death, he will have only 105 more years to go inside...

Can only start to imagine how horrible it must have been for the baby's mother.

Clearly you do not remember the news spin when this murder occurred. All the race hustlers were on the news accusing the white mother of fabricating the story that this violent black teenager shot her baby. The mainstream media was regularly covering this case in context of the Zimmerman/Trayvon case - while they attempted to make out that De'Marquise Elkins was a poor falsely accused black teenager in a racist America. He was just another victim just like Trayvon according to the pundits.

The kid's mother and relatives were regularly on the air accusing the police of racism after arresting Elkins (even though they were the ones who knowingly ditched his gun used in the crime).

Of course the police investigation demonstrating the actual facts backed by the jury's decision make it very clear that Elkins is responsible for this crime and many previous crimes that he got the 105 years for - in the same way that the facts have established that Trayvon violently assaulted Zimmerman and was guilty of many previous crimes including burglary in Miami.

You can only take it that De'Marquise Elkins was a classic role model for the gangster life that Trayvon Martin wanted to live.

Indeed, i don't live in the US and actually discovered the Elkin's case through this thread, and I would be even more upset about this case if it has been portrayed the way you say it has been by the media ( this is assuming the jury made the right decision).
