I've been trying to make this point to them for some time... Even suggested that they try a safe way to experience what Zimmerman was experiencing but 20 times worse in Zimmerman's case so that they might understand why he feared for his life.

They don't get it though because they've lived sheltered lives and they think that having your head smashed off the ground is irrelevant and not life threatening.
