If the slam was meaningful enough then Zimmerman would be in a fucking coma or dead. You don't know what you're talking about... Getting hit in the back of the head puts your lights out really quickly... Your eyes glaze over and you go into a coma faster than you can imagine. It doesn't have to be a significant blow either. Hits to the back of the head are illegal because of this in MMA.

Also, concussions are caused by the fact that your brain hits the inside of your cranium... They happen because of violent shaking.

Correct. But if the point of contact was scalp on concrete then there would also be bleeding. In fact, the impact needed to cause bleeding is less than the impact needed to cause concussion if we are talking about scalp on concrete.

Yes - this is what Zimmerman claims, however the physical evidence, eyewitnesses, and Zimmerman's injuries do not back up his head being slammed repeatedly on the sidewalk.

For the record... You may, or may not bleed when you hit the pavement...

If someone is raising your head about 5 inches of the ground and then is slamming it into the ground you probably won't bleed but you may very well get a brain injury or lose conscioussnes...

I will also note that the Martin family attempted to contact the Sanford police to have the girlfriends statement taken and the police refused to take her statement between Feb 28th to March 12th - according to earlier press reports. The phone records - turned over by the Martin family lawyer - demonstrate without a doubt that she was on the phone with Trayvon.
