What's amazing about this thread is the examples of people that can't set aside prejudice and politics and sort out the facts from the conjecture. Engineers learn to sort out facts and Engineers are rarely liberal. Artists live in fantasy worlds and rarely are conservative.

Engineers [generally] are not good with problems that can't be solved with a calculator. It's a personality type. The "artist type" overlaps engineers and non-engineers.
