Actually this brings us to a serious question. If the media is going to refer to Jorge Zimmerman as a White Mexican, are we now to refer to our president as a White African? PC would demand we do so from this point forward.
This whole incident provides an excellent illustration of an ugly truth. As a nation, we have no idea as to how we are ever going to get beyond the sins of the past.

wanna know something? Some asshole from the Police Commision went to the LAPD Captains of the various areas and told them to let the rioters do whatever. In the areas where the Captains did what this completely out of line commissioner told them, there was hell. In the areas where the Captains didn't like it that the chain of command was usurped by some idiot connected to Mayor Bradley [Mayor of Los Angeles and Black] and took the usual actions against rioters and did their jobs as policemen [like the San Fernando Valley where I was working at the time] there was no rioting.

And there has been a tremendous amount of ammo and firearms sold since then. I'm saying that the culture has caught on that there is a subculture that wants riots and chaos and they can stop it themselves if the government won't..
