Rat, years ago I had my right (wrong) ear pierced and wear a hoop in it just to set ignorant bigots like you off on a wild goose chase.

One thing you're right about -- I wasn't like the other children ... I loved to fuck with ignorant, hypocritical people's minds from a very young age.

Hey, I just threw the grenade in the living room. I didn't want to try to throw it out the window!

Let me start with A as this is a pretty intricate subject imo. Even anti-Christian research groups such as Masters and Johnson have stated that someone can switch their sexuality if they want to. So in some ways I believe that it is by choice. But, that said, I do believe that it would not be easy...

Why? Where are you headed?

I strongly believe the huge majority of people who are gay is due to genetics. Thus they have no control over their sexual orientation. But this case is just ridiculous. It would be a good thing if this kid got the shit beat out of him. Should have been born a women? Well, life ain't fair. You can have all the operations you want, but that still doesn't change the fact that you're born a man.

I also wonder if this is more the case of fucked up parents (i.e. wanted a girl but got a boy) rather than a independent decision of the kid.

I just read the other thread regarding the 13 year old and 34 year old man. Seriously, your mind is still developing when you're that old. Your views are usually shaped by adults.

I whole heartedly believe that it is genetics. I never thought of it as a life style.

How can I think of it as a life style when it could cause the end of your life, as in some places in the Middle East, yet you continue to live as a homosexual.

I will not try to dictate on him/ her how to live their lives as much as I do not want anyone to come and dictate on me the life style I should lead.

If my son is gay; my son is gay. If he is heterosexual, he is heterosexual!! There is nothing I could do or say that could make him change who he is.

What do you mean life is not fare?? It is not like he wanted to grow his hair or wear a nose ring. He is a child who does not see himself in any other way but a girl. The question is...Is he posing a physical threat on you or the Public??? If he/ she is not then he should not be persecuted for who he is.

And which parents do you know would love to see their children prosecuted for being different. Every parent dream is for their children to be accepted.

For what it's worth, the M&J conclusions don't support "A", but rather would support "C" or "D". I propose that you are misrepresenting their conclusion.

None the less, I am not surprised that you chose "A". It is what I expected.

No where, since you chose "A". There's nothing to discuss.

If you believe that a second grader is always straight by birth, that there is never any 'mistakes' in nature where one can be given the mind of one gender and the body of another, then where could we go?

I personally think it's sad to ignore what I consider to be fairly good evidence that such situations exist, but in spite of my sadness, no offence given nor taken.
