the meds debate is a red herring. Like blaming video games, music, or pot instead of the obvious
Nobody knows all the facts just yet...its still developing. Many things can be red herring but access to guns is the common denominator considering we have crappy gun laws in comparison to comparable countries like Canada, UK, and so on...
- Until then, everything is on the plate as a cause of this tragedy considering we should have learned from the Uvalde story how the facts change very fast from "heroic brave cops" to "scare coward cops not willing to do their job".
Another issue should be obvious. All the Covidiots have been screaming how "lockdowns" have caused increasing mental illness and instability in children but they're not willing to say the same for adults. Regardless, I do agree with Covidiots about being concerned with rising mental illness in this Pandemic.
My point, anyone not blind can see the dramatic increase in Mass Shootings during this Pandemic. Too many people are unhinged and need psychological help. I wonder how many of these unhinged people own guns and are ready to commit a violent crime.
Further, as a veteran of the military, I know how easy it is to subdue a violent person that does
not have access to a gun or any type of weapon when they want to harm others. Also, I know that almost all of these mass shootings occurred against those not armed and they did not involve mass people being strangled to death in a very short time span.
Take away the easy access to guns...part of the problem will be solved but there are other issues to deal with such as mentally healthy people suddenly snapping under pressure...an issue that occurred in
some of the below statistics...
- There have been at least 131 mass shootings in the United States so far this year, leaving more than 175 people dead and 475 injured, according to the Gun Violence Archive (GVA)...a record-breaking number of mass shootings by March.
The above are scary statistics considering we're still in March.
To those that want to make this a red versus blue state...it has been almost even with red states leading the way in mass shootings. Then again, it's early in the year.
Last of all, as I've stated since the beginning of this Pandemic...we've only seen the tip of the iceberg for the number of mass shootings and the number of children killed in this Pandemic.
Mass shooters are terrorists...helped by our gun laws
