WTF did Michael Bay do to this franchise?

The first movie was great. Good story, great action and special effects.

The second one was awful.

The plot (?) was non existant, the dialogue and acting was straight out of a 3 stooges skit, the special effects and action were subpar to say the least, and there were so many loopholes in script it was laughable.

Also, in the new Hollywood tradition of "going ghetto", Bay introduced two new Transformers who were nothing short of "Heckle and Jeckle from Da 'Hood". They were almost as bad as Jar-Jar Binks from Star Wars Episode I. Seriously, why does Hollywood feel the need to cram hip-hop black shit into every fucking movie???

I give the movie two enthusiastic middle fingers.

I was stuck with the kids otherwise I would have walked out. Couldn't believe how awful it was from beginning to end. The two ghetto characters were classic. Typical Hollywood movie homogenized and packaged for mass consumption, except it was a swing an miss for anyone who's not a professional wrestling fan or who wasn't in diapers when the tech bubble popped.
