Tradingjournals Quest... Turn $100 To $100K or To Ash

Quote from tradingjournals:

e/u at 1.4574/75. I thinking to re-entry on long side, reduced size.

e/u 1.4585. +10pips. Will not be able to follow it + earlier trend has been down, so I better take profits.

e/u at 1.4567/68. Went long on reduced reduced size, with intent to add if it were to suddenly fall to 1.4545 area. I do not expect much from this (I would even say it might turn out to be a loss), and I am putting in just satisfy my finger which is itching for a trade. I sense that buyers may be scared, and price is trending slowly but down, which may indicate that bears may also be scared.

Asian session is generally not innovative, and follows the US.

e/u at 1.4577/78. +10 pips. I am taking some profits to cover cost of stops and to get some net profits. What is left is a free+ trade.

Update: slow moving. Closed.

That was the bottom. I did not hold as I should. It is not the first time I do that. Does anyone has an idea on how to work on holding?

Quote from tradingjournals:

There are a number of people here who seem to like something they call price action. I never really understood what they exactly mean by price action

Price action trading refers to trading based on the footprints left behind by price bars, watching how price acts at support and resistance levels (previous bars' highs/lows, previous swing highs/lows, trend/channel lines, and optionally a moving average which often acts as mobile S/R) and trading in the direction of a demonstration of strength or weakness at those levels. The levels can hold or break, and you can trade accordingly (using stop orders to enter on breaks of key levels or using limit orders to anticipate a level holding).

I think the best way to hold a winner is to pretend it's a loser. :p

e/u at 1.4626. I am thinking to scale in on short side, in front of this "ferocious" move up from 1.4568.

I think I should use reduced reduced size. I have a feeling that this damn thing can explode to 1.4670 if 1.4626 area does not hold.

If I held in this upmove, I would have made 60pips, 6 times what I made. :(
