Could someone help me out with basic trading software that I can use on my personal accounts? I can purchase over the internet and upload onto my computer. I would rather not switch brokerage firms. Are there any good software programs out there for trading stock like that?

Check out www.medved.net/QuoteTracker it may work for you depending on you want to do (as roberk asked) and what broker you use.

I use it and I'm very happy with the product. It's free with an option to pay 7 bucks a month if you don't want to see any advertisements. The customer service is great. It's almost to good to be true.
