JJ I didn't want to get into a beef with you on this, but it looks like Spydertrader's comment about the ES dropping 10 points seconds after T28 posted is total BS. Which means that Spydertrader's the one who's busted. Are you claiming the ES did drop like that? The fact that I don't trade futures only means I don't have the data to look at 1 min ES bars.
And even if it did happen, SO WHAT. Everyone's acting like nobody who "really trades" is ever on the wrong side of the market which is ridiculous. Look at Warren Buffett's drawdown. Oh yeah, I forgot that Jack can outperform him. Bad example, sorry.
I never tested PVT in its entirety and never claimed to. And I doubt you did either because based on what Jack described you would have needed the ability to screen stocks for whether or not they met fundamental criteria in the PAST, you would have needed years of intraday data on those stocks, etc.
And even if that tiny piece you tested was approximately correct, I wouldn't exactly give PVT's performance of roughly half of buy and hold rave reviews without seeing other stats, like % time in the market, drawdown, etc.

Speaking of PVT, I used an approved list of stocks (approve by Jack Hershey) and applied them to the automated trading code that spydertrader was kind of enough to freely provide the board. Now if that isn't good enough for you, and you want to continue arguing over the interent and belaboring the point, I like Vikana, will just turn a blind to you and your insistence on being obstinate.
Trader28 is his on little troll, who no one (especially Baron) even wants on the site. If you want to continue using the type of "idiot-logic" that he expouses, you can be put in that category as well.

Since you weren't watching the markets (you don't trade futures) or his call (you weren't on the thread), you didn't see what happened ... that bad boy dropped, and Trader28 went scrambling for cover. It was pretty bad, hell I wanted to defend him, but I couldn't, it was just too obvious that he didn't know what the hell he was talking about.
Maybe he should invest in one of the publicly sold canned systems, his SPM isn't doing him much good, these days. :eek:
P.S. I hear Steve46 is teaching remedial lessons in trading using volume bars and moving averages ... maybe that can help him.
