Trading with Renko Bars

I have just discovered this setting for charts. WOW! it really filters out the noise of every little tick. My trading feels WAY WAY more controlled.

Anyone else using these??

They look cool and clean. I tried to use them as a trailing device but was never able to find them useful. They are slow on the draw in that they can be very late in describing price behavior. Good luck, we all experience different things in the markets, maybe you can find success with them.

I agree. Nothing. Tick based vs time base. It all works. And it all doesn’t. The more experienced I get, the more I realize that this is an art just as much as science (technicals). You gotta find out what works for you.

For me less is more. I have gone to WAy way fewer indicators than years ago when I started trading. And my trading has gotten better.
I see the traders with 8 screens and more lines than I can count. I could never do that.

your chart is about 10 times more complex than mine.

anyway if it works for you, then continue to use it.
