These levels are from last contract but they still apply

If a bunch of traders entered at a level and made money, don't you think they are going to do it again? - Price has memory and so do profitable traders


Low volume levels can be traded just like high volume levels - If price was rejected at a level to such a degree that it could not spend much time there, don't you think there must be a reason? Who cares what the reason is, there is a good chance of it being rejected at that level again

eSignal does have a Market Profile feature available for an extra 7 bucks a month. Don't waste your time or $$. You cannot define the parameters of the study (ie you can't set it to display prices at the increments you want to see). You pretty much click and what you see is what you get. I'm having better success using an Excel spreadsheet and the Concatenate() function. I've been following this thread from the beginning and I think that there are some excellent ideas here. I think it is helpful to have some (any) kind of reference point to look at during the day, whether it is an opening range, pivot point, VAP, market profile, whatever. Makes you focus more on trade management rather than on the "perfect" entry. Has anyone used the emini.org service? The MP charts on their website look interesting. Good thread--glad it hasn't deteriorated...yet.

it's possible to code volume at price in esignal..
market profile optional study is not very useful.
the free volume at price from esignal is not useful either, because it's not configurable.

I only day trade, and I have been using this method for awhile. I have done many things to increase my percentage of profitable trades. This is just one of the tools, but it is a good one.

Also use TC2000 to find good candidates for long and short watch lists then play off those mostly, using stochastics, moving averages, the Volume at Price histogram, and the sometime the short term direction of the eminis as an indicator as well.

I'm coming a little late to this thread and trying to catch up.

I have both eSignals and TS and can't find any VP studies with either. Can you tell me where theya re, please?
