I will be taking a 2 week hiatus from blogging, journaling, forum surfing, etc. Duty calls and it is getting really busy at work. I will be in the markets and updating my candlestick study as usual.

Keep it real everyone!

Remember: fundamental trump technical; long term trump short term. Experience is your best teacher.
This comment is so vague it is almost useless.

I do agree though, experience is your best teacher.

Thanks for stopping by.

OK, I am officially checking out. Peace :fistbump:

Since I have thrown TradingView to the curb, I think I may try to just share my ToS charts. It lacks the nifty analysis and video features but it gets the job done.

Here is the pinbar I am setting in /CL. This is basically my thought process here.
  1. HH/HL
  2. Sideways Consolidation
  3. Price bumps into the short term bullish trend line, breaks through it but pulls right back up. BOOM, you have a pin bar. Lots of shorts holding onto losing positions, should be good fuel for the next leg higher.
That's it. We have the overall trend bias, the fakeout at the short term trend line after sideways consolidation. Pretty much a bread and butter setup.

Too bad /CL is too large a product for my account to trade it. Maybe gentleman's bet instead.

Testing out the ToS chart sharing feature
Crude Oil - (Bullish) Pin Bar

This is what I call an "Energizer pin bar", it just keeps going, and going, and going...

These pin bars that form within a prevailing trend are especially potent. Just like the one that formed in /ES on 3/8.

My $10,000 gaming rig arrived today:strong:

I got it set up and ran a 3DMark benchmark on it. It scored in the 99% percentile, and came in at almost 3 times a standard 4K gaming PC. I haven't even tried to overclock it yet. I am looking forward to putting these cards to work soon.

In 3 years it will be worth 100 bux. Moore's Law, dude.
Ha! No joke

I will be able to play any game in 4k @ 60fps for probably the next 5-7 years. At that point I will hand this down to my son and buy a new $10k rig, which will probably be able to run 8k @ 144fps.

In other big news, my wife and I just bought a house. This house was an absolute hidden gem. In 2 months we will be able to move in. We will continue to own our current house for a while but will likely sell it later in the year. The big plan is to have 50% of the house paid off by the end of this year and the other 50% paid off next year.

It would be a great 32nd birthday gift next year to pay off our house, and be debt free. (My birthday is in August, so the clock is ticking).

Trade well, or your plan is screwed.
